Greetings from the Purdue Center for Economic Education!

We are excited to invite you to join us for a virtual workshop on Teaching Economics Using Children’s Literature, led by elementary teacher Gina Boyd, our center’s Teacher Advocate.

In this live Zoom workshop we will explore strategies for teaching economics to elementary school students using children’s literature. Register by March 23 to receive a curriculum workbook and a FREE children’s book you will use during the workshop.

Our workshop host, Gina Boyd, teaches 4/5 high ability classes at Mayflower Mill Elementary in Tippecanoe County. As a PCEE Teacher Advocate, Gina regularly shares her enthusiasm and expertise in teaching economics, and was selected by the Council of Economic Education for their Excellence in the Teaching of Economics Award.
