Interested in a creative way to introduce basic economics to your K-5 students? Use the new Herschel’s World of Economics DVD. Your students will be charmed by Herschel, a feisty puppet dog who thinks he knows a lot about economics, but still has a lot to learn. Dr. Day comes to the rescue to teach Herschel the important economic concepts he needs to learn. The DVD contains six complete 10-minute programs covering 13 key concepts covered in the economics portion of the Indiana Social Studies Standards. For more about Herschel, go to www.kidseconposters.com.
You will do a lesson from the revised Play Dough Economics curriculum and will learn about children’s
literature books that teach economic concepts.
What You Receive: You will receive a copy of the revised Play Dough Economics curriculum, a free
copy of the Herschel DVD, and also a free set of KidsEcon Posters, Set A. These colorful 11 posters
cover the concepts taught in the Herschel DVD.
The value of all curriculum materials you will receive is $65.
