Workshop Description: You’ve heard about it, but now you can learn about it!!

Please join us for a workshop on the popular Mini-Economy, a classroom instructional system that simulates real-world economic activity. The Mini-Economy encourages decision-making and creative thinking and is a great motivator! Hundreds of Indiana teachers are using the Mini-Economy. It will help you:
  • Teach the Economics Standards in your Social Studies curriculum
  • Apply Math, Language Arts and Fine Arts Standards and skills
  • Improve your classroom management
Experienced classroom teachers (primary and intermediate) will give you practical advice on starting and expanding a Mini-Economy. Each workshop participant will receive the comprehensive 170-page “how to” curriculum, The Classroom Mini-Economy. Each participant will also receive a set of the very popular KidsEcon Posters, a curriculum project featuring kid-friendly posters of 22 economic concepts.

For: New and Experienced Mini-Economy Teachers, K-6
