|K through 5th Grade Teachers:
Children are never too young to begin learning basic personal finance concepts. This webinar will show you why it is so important to start teaching personal finance at a young age. You will learn how to integrate personal finance into your ELA and math curriculum using fun, hands-on activities from CEE's award-winning Financial Fitness for Life curriculum. Games, role-playing, read alouds and other activities will teach your students the basics of earning income, saving, spending and budgeting.
The thought of budgeting is frightening to many people. It conjures up thoughts of sacrifice, of having to give up valued things. This workshop will provide you with activities you can do with your students to show them that learning to set goals and manage money can help them buy the things they really want and achieve financial success.
Presenter: Marsha Masters, Associate Director, Economics Arkansas
