Workshop Description: High School Teachers:

Equip yourself with the knowledge and curriculum materials to help your high school students better understand U.S. History through the lens of economics. Lessons in this webinar series will demonstrate how economics provides the best framework for thinking about the policies and events that are part of our history.

The post-WWII era brought a vision of economic cooperation between the countries supporting free trade. However, recently, there has also been a persistent and perhaps growing concern over increased globalization. What explains these fears, and is there a way that teachers can help their students plan for a world with increasingly open trade with other countries? This webinar will help teachers tackle these difficult questions.

If you are unable to attend the live webinar, please still register and we will send you an email with a link to the recorded webinar.

Presenters: Dr. Tawni Ferrarini, Northern Michigan University and Dr. Stephen Day, Virginia Commonwealth University.
