Workshop Description: High School Teachers:

Collegiate and professional sports provide excellent examples of many economic concepts. The two webinars in this series will examine the role of entrepreneurship in the sports apparel industry and labor market issues.

Most students in a typical American high school are probably wearing footwear and/or athletic apparel produced by Adidas, Nike, or Under Armour. This webinar will present a role-play activity where students take on the roles of entrepreneurs, professional athletes, and ordinary consumers to demonstrate how entrepreneurs make lives better for consumers of their products.

If you are unable to attend the live webinar, please still register and we will send you an email with a link to the recorded webinar.

Presenter: Mike Raymer, Chief Program Officer, Georgia Council for Economic Education.
