Workshop Description: The Council for Economic Education is pleased to offer free professional development webinars for teachers nationwide. The webinars cover multiple topics on how to integrate personal finance and economics in the classroom and create a fun learning experience for your students.

In this webinar, you will discover how picture books can give your classroom an instant boost by combining literature, math, and economics to teach activity-based lessons. The provided lessons and activities enhance learning, promote critical thinking, and build problem solving skills. Featured books include classics such as Alexander Who Used to be Rich Last Sunday as well as new titles like Lemonade in Winter: A Book About Two Kids Counting Money. Lessons, web resources, and a topical bibliography are included.
