Workshop Description:

Attention Middle and High School Teachers:

The Purdue Center for Economic Education is hosting a professional development series entitled, "EconVersations." You won't want to miss the upcoming Indiana's Manufacturing Economy and Career Path Options for Today's Students program on May 3, 2018 from 5:15 pm to 7:30 pm at Indiana Manufacturing Institute, Purdue Research Park, 1150 Challenger Drive, West Lafayette.

Guest speaker, Dr. Robert Nida, will talk about how new opportunities in Indiana manufacturing are affecting the Indiana economy and its need for skilled workers.

Plus, Award Winning Teacher, Emily Vanderwall, will demonstrate lessons and activities that illustrate the value of human capital.

Dinner will be provided as well as 2 Professional Growth Plan Points for participating teachers!
