Workshop Description:

Attention High School Teachers:

John Maynard Keynes was the economic and mathematical architect of the Franklin D. Roosevelt's New Deal. However, his writing was mainly to explain how an economy behaves during a recession and recommend government policies. Unfortunately, Keynes dies in 1946 and there is a debate if Keynes would approve of the big government policies that come after him, yet cite Keynesian economics. This webinar analyzes if future policies were truly Keynesian or, if he were alive, would he disagree?

Presenter: Matthew Gherman, Edward R. Murrow High School
