Workshop Description: K-12 Grade Teachers:

Register now for Indiana and You: A Free Indiana Studies Workshop 2.0 for Indiana K+ educators. Learn about Indiana resources including the new Indiana and You app (CitizIN) to help teach Indiana Studies. Each day has unique content featuring lessons, activities, resources, speakers, and fieldtrips integrating civics, geography, economics, and history focused on Indiana topics.

Participants will have the opportunity to review the content for the free Indiana Studies app being developed to align with the new high school Indiana Studes course.

The workshop runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on July 15, 16, 17, and 18 in Indianapolis on the IUPUI campus. Sign up for one day -- or for all 4. You can earn as little as 5 PGP points, or as many as 21+. You decide! Although the primary focus for the Workshop will be the high school course, Indiana Studies, all grades are welcome since materials and content during all four days can be utilized in most grades.

Participants will also visit the Indiana State Library and the Indiana History Center. Plus, Professional Growth Points will be awarded, parking will be provided at IUPUI, and lunch will be provided all at no cost!
