Attention Educators:

This webinar analyzes the role slavery had in many different facets of the development of not just the Southern economy, but the entire American economy. We will evaluate to what extent slavery was entwined not just in Southern plantation wealth, but also manufacturing, textiles, banking, insurance and Westward Expansion. We will also include a contemporary Keynesian analysis of the extent of its profitability.
